There will be opportunities to build your project onsite with us during Open Studio Days. Alternatively, you can bring work you have created ahead of time.

All mediums – from telepathy, to performance art, to sculpture, to cake decoration – are welcome.

The Hibernation Project is DIY and artist-run initiative. It primarily unfunded, with the exception of a small material budget from cSPACE Eau Claire. In the spirit of “no money, no pressure,” we hope to maintain a democratic situation where genuine experimentation is joyfully undertaken. Wherever possible, in-kind resources and snackz are offered to participating artists. Imperfect experiments are the name of the game. Come have fun and make something new with us!
