This month, EARS HAVE EYES is following the path of the CELESTIAL ORCHESTRAL: sounds for other worlds. This month’s artworks are a collection of alien compositions, otherworldly noises, and solar sounds – a voyage for your minds and ears.

Gennaro Foglia
Gennaro Foglia is a composer and musician from San Paolo Bel Sito in the province of Naples, Italy. Gennaro is in the first year of a Master’s Degree, studying electronic music composition at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory.
Last Resource is a composition between two opposites one is the natural part of our soul symbolized by melodic instruments and musical loops, which are broken by a mechanical part with industrial sounds and metal noises that represent the destruction of the soul. The composition is composed of a part A with worldless sounds, to create an unknown, new and uncomfortable sound imagery, all to be explored, then moving on to a part B with both natural and instrumental sounds, more comfortable and relaxing both for our state of mind and for our listening, then a return to A and finally B againAll this contrasted with the video which is a still image that represents the staticity and at the same time the movements that the music gives to the image itself.
Lyon
Lyon (Benjamin Leon) is a composer working at the intersection of sound, image, and perception, creating music for audiovisual and immersive experiences. Lyon’s practice explores fragmented textures, resonant timbres, and the emotional tension between the organic and the processed. The artist seeks to deepen the narrative and psychological dimensions of storytelling beyond conventional musical language.
Artemis II is experimental music inspired by the recent Artemis II Mission. This missions signals a new age of space exploration, something that gives me hope for the next years to come, seeing technology being used for things like this, and being open to anyone in the world, sends a clear message of what path humanity should follow.
Richard Winters
Richard Winters is a multi-disciplinary artists from Brighton, UK.
About 21-11-1936:
“I built a drone ensemble in Reaktor and made 12 recordings, I coded a simulation of the solar system and had each body emit a drone as the “listener” orbits anti-clockwise The planets start in the position that they would have been in on my mother’s birthday 21/09/36. I miss her terribly.”
Unlucky Ninjas
Unlucky Ninjas is an experimental Iranian trio based in Tehran, exploring microtonal music and world soundscapes. The ensemble features Arash Zarabi on contrabass, Bistquit on microtonal guitar, and Moli on tonbak. Over recent years, the group has collaborated with artists and vocalists from Afghanistan, Armenia, Japan, Turkey, and Iran, integrating diverse musical traditions into their experimental framework.
Their music combines ancient Iranian modal systems with contemporary improvisation, layered textures, and trio dynamics. The ensemble’s latest project reflects resilience and creativity in times of conflict, crafted entirely in Tehran’s underground scene. Drawing inspiration from historical and cultural motifs, the group creates a sonic dialogue that is both intimate and universal, resonating across borders and traditions.
Unlucky Ninjas’ work is a testament to innovation, cross-cultural collaboration, and the transformative power of sound, inviting listeners into a world where microtonality and improvisation illuminate hope amidst darkness.
Zang Shotori reflects resilience and creativity in challenging times. Inspired by the richness of Iranian modal systems and ancient musical forms, we blend them with modern microtonal experimentation. The project embodies a journey through trio improvisation, layered soundscapes, and cross-cultural dialogue, capturing moments of hope amidst darkness
Zoe (Yi-Cheng) Lin
Zoe (Yi-Cheng) Lin is a composer specializing in AI music development, 3D immersive soundscapes, and auditory-visual synesthesia. Currently an assistant professor at National Taiwan Normal University, her work has garnered international acclaim, showcased at 48 prestigious events including Paysages Composés Festival 2025 (Grenoble, France), SICMF 25 (Seoul, Korea), ICMC 2026-2024, NYCEMF 2026-2024, JINLAC2025, SEAMUS 2025, REF 2024, Ars Electronica 2024, IRCAM Forum 2024, and more. Her music is featured on albums from EMPIRICA RECORD, SiMN 2023, and MUSLAB 2023. She was selected for the Anthropocene Project 2024 and EMPIRICA RECORD 2024, championing experimental and electronic music.
Dream Voyager is a work for solo flute and electronics, performed by Taiwanese flutist Cheng-Yu Wu, unfolding as a lucid dream journey in which the listener traverses states of consciousness from the threshold of sleep into expansive awareness. Beginning beneath a quiet, starlit stillness, the music gradually lifts the soul beyond the body, revealing a world both distant and vividly present, awakening a longing to perceive its essence. A distant bell—an echo of inner knowing—guides the voyager through shifting realms of light, memory, sky, and ocean, where cycles of emergence and dissolution appear as fleeting expressions within a larger cosmic rhythm. As time and space soften, breath becomes a unifying pulse, and within this shared movement a quiet sense of hope arises—not as declaration, but as remembrance. Through immersive Ambisonic spatial motion, sound ascends, drifts, and surrounds, tracing a path of departure and return; when the bell resounds once more, layers of luminous resonance gather and lead the soul back toward waking, carrying not only the trace of a dream, but a renewed perception—an awareness of interconnectedness, fluidity, and the subtle return of light.
