The Hibernation on Saturday pulled on threads of light and dark magic. Jennifer Crighton bewitched us all with her improvised harp music, summoning resonant feels beneath a gold + silver net installation by Caitlind Brown & Wayne Garrett.

Susan Clarahan bound us in a circle hailing to the 4 directions, placing small installations in each cardinal direction: north, south, east, west.

Illuminated by candles, each elemental installation flanked a corner of the property, casting a twinkling circle around the house for the night.

Rebecca Reid & Marie Sulkowski made an installation in the basement, presented an otherworldly “13 Minute Transmission from Neptune” surrounded by astrological objects.

We gathered in a circle to receive the transmission, followed by casual Tarot readings.

Svea Ferguson continued her Hibernation fridge series, adding a witchy woman to her ongoing illustrations.

Matthew Kennedy contributed rainbow fire crystals, adding colour to our late night bonfire.
